KaraFiber was established in 2019, marking a significant milestone as Turkey’s first Lyocell fiber producer. Our facility, located in Gaziantep, Turkey, represents a cutting-edge investment in sustainable materials with an initial production capacity of 20,000 tonnes. Due to the rising demand for environmentally responsible materials, we are expanding our plant to reach a 45,000-tonne production capacity by 2024. As an integral part of Kara Holding—an industry leader with diverse operations spanning textiles, plastics, and nonwoven products—KaraFiber has a clear vision for promoting sustainability and innovation in materials science. We are dedicated to manufacturing premium Lyocell fibers, which are natural, fully biodegradable, and derived from renewable wood sources. These fibers offer a unique combination of softness, durability, and moisture management, making them ideal for textile applications, including apparel, home textiles, and hygiene products. Our commitment extends beyond production; we aim to influence the future of the textile industry with our eco-friendly solutions, fostering a circular economy and reducing environmental impact. KaraFiber stands at the forefront of this transformation, leading with integrity, advanced technology, and a passion for sustainable development.
